Just like every other little town in the world, there is simply a certain percentage of the population who would prefer to keep to themselves. And yes, there Are clicks and the stand-offish types. I know there are announcements all the time to join clubs or events posted all over town and in the loc...

Yeah go on up

Hey, all sounds good to me. Who couldn't use more sweet smelling things? Especially if you can teach folks how to make them. Sounds fun to me. Good luck. :D

Why Alaska?

Well, besides being the prettiest place on earth, the folks are far from boring - see posts on this forum as examples. If you don't love natural beauty, and can't stand isolation, this place is not for you. But good luck anyhow. Enjoy. 8)

Ok, can't resist the jab. The Seahawks were shut down by my Dallas Cowboys. Tough D, a 2nd string QB who managed the game well - didn't drive the bus off the road. Dallas should have beaten the Hawks last year.

Getting Odler

James: Yes I'd rather get Odler than Older, for sure, ennit. :D Seriously, give me 100 on the NW beaches over the heat and humidity of Oklahoma. I truly like Tulsa a whole lot, but the heat is something else. I'm thinking Port Angeles or Port Townsend is in my future for settling down. On the beauti...

Muck

Hey BC: Good to see you again. Yes this is the muck of Oklahoma Summer, but it's actually hotter and more humid than my past experiences, and even the locals say the heat index in the 100 and teens is way hot for them. But this weekend has seen it cool down to the 90s, and even 80's. Wow feels soooo...

Thanks

Hey Thanks. Seems like I have a vague recollection of her saying that. I didn't know what the result would be. As far as Oklahoma goes, double Sitka's temp, and that's what you got down here; a very big UGH! I'm thanking God for letting me born at a time where there's air conditioners and ice packs....

Yet Another Change Eh?

Wow, have I been gone that long? Things seemed to have changed.
