cabin reservations

Postby Allen&Lynn » Thu Oct 10, 2013 11:22 pm

o.K. So we got to the point in sitka  that we had to go online to book a cabin or make reservations. Now the site is shut down due to budget cuts. So what do we do now? call a 800 number to find out no one works there any more! Any one know what were soppost to do now? Will it just be first come first serve? Where do you pay or is it all free now? A little information would be nice.....

Good question!! I wouldn't assume that they are free though. I know my family has a cabin rented next weekend that we paid for months ago. If I show up to my cabin and someone is there thinking its ok to stay there because the website is down, I will be a little upset. If you find any info please share on here with everyone! Thanks, and good luck getting a cabin.

Yea, we went to Starrigavin to get water and it's closed with a sign talking about the government shutdown. I doubt anybody will be allowed at the cabin. Sorry, it sucks, wish the gov. would get it together.
