Need the inside scoop on housing please!

Hi there! My family and I will be moving to Sitka the first week of September. After moving around so much with the Marine Corps we are very anxious to make Sitka our forever home, unfortunately, finding a rental home seems impossible. My husband, the Marine, will be working as a police officer and I hope to find full-time employment as well that will put my Bachelor's Degree to good use. We would like to buy a house there eventually, but until we are better established we need to rent. I'm wondering if anyone has some pointers on finding a 2 or 3 bedroom house for rent that accepts dogs, is reasonably priced, and is becoming available the first week of September. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just keep looking here or online at the Sitka sentinel news paper.
It changes all the time as far as housing so you'll have to look a few times a week.
There are a couple things you should know before you move here and that is it's very expensive to live here and during the cold season it rains a lot!
